Women's Ministries is the branch of the Conservative Baptist Association of Southern California that works with women as a resource to encourage, motivate, educate and evangelize women of all ages and stages to draw closer to God with the leadership of each individual church.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!!
A new year, a new date book, a new "chronological Bible" I am reading through, and new goals! It is fun to start all over again. What do you need to start all over again? How you treat your husband, children or some relationship? How you manage your money? How you spend your "appointment with the King?" Losing weight or getting rid of some bad habit or sin? Whatever it is, YOU WILL NEED GOD TO GIVE YOU THE POWER TO CHANGE AND DO IT, and these first 30 days are vital for you and me to discipline ourselves and ask God to help us!

How about those 10 Stupid Things that Godly Women Do to Mess Up Their Marriages or your "Yada Yada Prayer Group" or your Organizing or How are your Relationships in your Workplace? How about that appointment with the King? Get out your old retreat booklet and look at some of your principles that you wrote down and were eager to put into practice and WORK ON THEM. NEVER GIVE UP. I pray that this new year, 2010, you will KNOW GOD MORE, LOVE GOD MORE AND SERVE GOD MORE THAN YOU EVER HAVE!! Get out there and TRY. Our spiritual walk takes great effort and change, and yet we can't do it ALONE...WE NEED GOD TO DO IT IN US!! Okay get started and have fun!

 "I do not mean that I am already as God wants me to be. I have not yet reached that goal, but I continue trying to reach it and to make it mine. Christ wants me to do that, which is the reason he made me his. Brothers and sisters, I know that I have not yet reached that goal, but there is one thing I always do. Forgetting the past and straining toward what is ahead, I keep trying to reach the goal and get the prize for which God called me through Christ to the life above."  Col 3: 12-14
